InnoFrugal is a non-profit association dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth through impact investing and frugal innovation. Its mission is to co-create high-quality, accessible, and affordable solutions that drive positive change.
I had the privilege of crafting InnoFrugal’s online presence, leveraging their newly updated brand identity. The project encompassed the creation of three interconnected websites, each supporting their overarching mission:
InnoFrugal Association – The primary website, designed to introduce the association and its mission to the world.
InnoFrugal Conference – A platform dedicated to their annual conference, focusing on impact investing and frugal innovation discussions.
InnoFrugal Sling – Was a resource hub for impact startups, offering guidance on refining MVPs, scaling sales, and building a robust foundation for sustainable growth and fundraising.
This project was not just about building websites—it was about creating a digital ecosystem that reflects InnoFrugal’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, empowering them to amplify their mission.
The project unfolded in three distinct phases:
Conceptualization
I began with an in-depth conceptual phase to define project goals and outcomes. This phase included creating wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and a detailed roadmap for development.
Production Planning
During this phase, I devised a modular structure for the websites. This approach streamlined the subsequent development process, enabling efficient creation of all three sites simultaneously by reusing shared core components.
Development
Thanks to meticulous preparation, the development phase was efficient and seamless. All three websites were built on the WordPress CMS, using a single primary core theme. This modular framework ensured consistency across the sites and allowed for easy updates and simultaneous future development.
A central design principle was to create an easily maintainable and scalable product. By implementing a unified core theme, I ensured that the websites remain coherent and aligned with InnoFrugal’s brand identity over time, enabling seamless growth and adaptation.
