Orsap is a Finnish turnkey contractor specializing in complete interior deliveries for public spaces, cabins, and luxury cruise liners. Their existing website no longer represented their professionalism, and it was time for a refresh.
The project was completed in three phases: design consulting, design and planning, and production and publication. I worked alongside Karri, who handled project management and client communication, while I focused on the website design and creation.
In the design consulting phase, we worked closely with Orsap to understand their needs, form a project scope, and establish a clear vision. This shared understanding among all stakeholders was critical to the project’s success.
The design phase followed a proven formula:
- Benchmarking and mood boards
- Wireframing and information architecture
- Initial sketches and client feedback
- Refining layouts based on feedback
- Final confirmation before moving to production
The production phase was straightforward, with the layout divided into modules and smaller components. I used CSS (SASS) and HTML to build a fully modular, responsive website, resulting in a clean, modern, and easy-to-use final product.
